Rostprirodnadzor accused Vysokogorsky Mining and Processing Plant of exceeding emissions in Nizhny Tagil, 27 May 2024

The Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor held OJSC Vysokogorsky Mining and Processing Plant (VGOK, part of the NPPO Ural) administratively liable for violating environmental protection laws and disregarding the supervisory agency's instructions.

During another inspection, the agency found that VGOK had not addressed previously identified violations related to air quality protection and waste management.
