Decision № 132678532, 02.12.2025, Ternivskyi District Court of Kryvyi Rih City

In October 2025, a former bulldozer operator filed a lawsuit against Northern Mining and Processing Plant (PJSC) seeking UAH 520,000 in moral damages due to occupational diseases caused by prolonged exposure to hazardous working conditions, including vibration and dust.

According to an extract from the decision of the expert team on the assessment of an individual’s daily functioning No. 125/25/1765/В dated 09 October 2025, the claimant was initially assigned a third disability group from 31 July 2025 to 01 November 2026, with a 65% loss of professional capacity, including 55% due to vibration disease and 10% due to chronic (dust-related) bronchitis.

The court found that the illnesses were linked to unsafe working conditions at the enterprise and partially satisfied the claim, awarding UAH 198,400 in moral damages and UAH 1,984 in court fees.
