In January 2024, it was reported that workers at Best Choice were facing a series of violations including denial of overtime wages and owed wages when the factory closes due to lack of orders, unclean water and toilet facilities, and workers forced to lie about conditions during inspections.

In August 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Voile Bleue to respond. It did not.
