Israel: Workers for Israel Electric subcontractor die in on-site accident; incl. IEC response

In February 2023, Times of Israel reported the deaths of two workers employed by a subcontractor for Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) in Ashdod. Initial Labor Ministry findings report a wall collapsed on the workers while undertaking works on-site. The incident is the latest in a series of injuries and deaths of construction workers in Israel. The Labor Minister commented "According to the data, a significant part of the accidents are caused by negligence and disregard for the provisions of the law."
