On January 17, Liya Milushkina, a Coordinator for the Otkrytaya Rossiya (Open Russia) movement in Pskov, was arrested and accused of selling drugs, an offense punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment. On January 18, she was placed under house arrest until March 15. On March 13, her house arrest was extended for 2 months. In April of 2017, Open Russia was designated as “undesirable” by Russia's Prosecutor General’s Office.
