Nestlé's follow up response on report by China Labor Watch and Coffee Watch

Invitation to respond – Report published by Coffee Watch and China Labor Watch

Nestlé’s statement as of 18 August 2025

Our suppliers must comply with all local laws, international standards, and applicable

regulations. These requirements are outlined in our Responsible Sourcing Core

Requirements and we use third-party assessments and independent audits of farms in

our coffee supply chain to ensure that our requirements are met.

Since being made aware of these allegations in China in November 2024, seven

external audits have been conducted, which have confirmed the compliance of

certification holders with 4C requirements.

We continue to work with our independent partner 4C as we further strengthen our due

diligence processes and will implement any additional corrective actions as and if

required.
