Russia: Administrative case opened against Dalpolimetall over unpaid salaries

指控

[Summary translation prepared by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre]

Prosecutor's Office stimulated Dalpolimetall to pay September salaries, 1 November 2024

The Prosecutor's Office of Dalnegorsk, Primorye Territory, conducted an inspection to ensure compliance with labor rights.

It was found that employees of JSC Mining and Metallurgical Complex Dalpolimetall did not receive the second half of their September 2024 salary on time. The wage arrears exceeded 46 million rubles.

The Prosecutor's Office issued a formal reprimand to the acting CEO of the company and initiated administrative violation cases against him and the legal entity under Part 7 of Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (failure to pay wages on time).

Following the intervention of the supervisory agency, the wage arrears were fully paid to the employees.
