“Eversource workers demand new contracts, better working conditions”, 2 September 2025

For a second time in recent weeks, some Eversource employees and electrical workers protested what they're calling unfair work schedules and working conditions.

Some Eversource system operators are also fighting for their first union contracts.

The group picketed in Manchester on Wednesday, asking for more reasonable work hours and negotiations.

In a statement to News 9, Eversource said its employees are the backbone of its operations.

"We always negotiate with union labor in good faith and will continue to do so with the system operators in New Hampshire," the company said, in part.
