The African Union Commission (AUC) and the European Union (EU) will be organizing a joint meeting to promote corporate social responsibility based on the United Nations Principles on September 16, 2014 in Addis Ababa.The meeting aims to support the African Union to develop a continental business and human rights framework based on the UN Guiding Principles on Human Rights and Business...Policy makers, businesses and civil society will debate with the objective to promote the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles (UNGPs) on Business and HumanRights in Europe and Africa and foster peer learning opportunities as well as identify potential areas of future cooperation between EU and AUC.
