Appetite for Destruction: China’s Trade in Illegal Timber

In late 2012 the NGO Environmental Investigation Agency published a report on China’s high consumption of timber and its impacts, including case studies from heavily deforested countries. The report urges for action form the Chinese government in strengthening regulations to prevent the use of illegal timber.
