Between Poverty And Women

The concern for gender issues in poverty alleviation and employment promotion is premised not only on the principle of equity in economic opportunities and benefits between men and women. It is also advocated in the interest of economic efficiency. Several research studies and expert opinions have proved that sustained economic development can only be achieved if the full potential of all human resources, both men and women, is realised, and their respective economic activities are harnessed and developed.
