[DOC] Response of Max India to concerns regarding alleged groundwater pollution by one of its facilities

In the news report, Max India’s name is mentioned in Para-1 along with other Pharmaceutical Companies. However the 3rd Para clearly mentions that Govt. of India’s letters sent to Sarpanch of Toansa Village mentioned only 3 companies viz Ranbaxy, Montari and DSM and “Max India Limited” is NOT mentioned...This is further substantiated in the second news item dated 9th Dec. 05 in the Times of India, which does NOT mention Max India at all...We trust that the above clarification makes it obvious that Max India is NOT associated with ground water pollution in Toansa Village.”
