[The NGO claims that] [o]fficials of Baker Hughes have left Andrew Boateng to his fate after he was involved in a dreadful accident…in the company’s vehicle…Andrew Boateng was…airlifted to…[a] Hospital in…South Africa, whilst in coma and has since been neglected by officials of Baker Hughes…[relying]…on the benevolence of friends and philanthropists…Wacam…labeled the company’s conduct…callous and inhuman…[Wacam’s statements alleges that] Andrew Boateng…was moved twice…without the consent of his family…[and subsequently] dumped in…a nursing home for the aged…without appropriate care or rehabilitation with specialised medical staff…[He] suffered further head injury when he fell from his bed and has not received medical check-up [since]…Baker Hughes is ignoring requests from family members and his lawyer for specialised emergency care…We condemn the discrimination against local staff who work in multinational companies…
