On 27 May 2024, PT. Stardust Estate Investment, allegedly cleared building located in land owned by the communities in ,Bungintimbe village, East Petasia district, North Morowali District with heavy equipment and dozens of security personnel without showing permits or any legal decision. Residents alleged the land clearance by PT SEI were conducted without proper consultation and adequate consultation.

The Business & Human Rights Centre invited PT Stardust Estate Investment to respond. PT Stardust Estate Investment did not respond.
