المصادر

Jani Silva is a member of ADISPA (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Sostenible Perla Amazónica) and a peasant and environmental leader who has worked for the implementation of the Peace Accord and led the documentation and denunciation of the socio-environmental impacts generated by the British company Amerisur since the early 2000s. Amerisur is now owned by Chilean company GeoPark, which recently signed agreements with the United Nations Development Program in Putumayo. On January 16, 2020, men on a motorbike were surrounding her home and workplace at different times. This is not the first harassment or threat Jani has received for her environmental and social activism.
