Thank you for allowing us to reply to this disinformation campaign. Minaurum’s response in bullet points is as follows:

• The Zoque can’t recover their land as they never lost it in the first place. Minaurum does not control any surface rights, never occupied any land nor has it had an ongoing presence in the area.
• The Santa Marta project is not a “mega-project”. Minaurum has not conducted any exploration work on the project for several years and the work completed to now only consisted of zero surface disturbance geological mapping and sampling. Future drilling will employ environmentally and socially sensitive man-portable drill rigs that follow the highest international standards for environmental protection.
• Minera Zalamera is not a subsidiary of Minaurum Gold Inc. It is a separate mineral exploration company. Minaurum has an option to purchase the Santa Marta project.
• Minaurum has not “attacked” any bodies of water and future work planned will not in any way impact water sources.
• There is no deception or betrayal. There are Federally defined sub-surface mineral rights which require public registry and support to develop.
• Minaurum is unaware of Director Flores’ statement, and believe perhaps he was referring to active mining operations.
