The World Bank yesterday approved implementation of a project, funded by a US$5.15 million Global Environment Facility (GEF) grant, to significantly increase the use of environment-friendly agricultural practices at the county and national levels, thereby reducing nutrient runoff from agricultural sources to the Danube River and Black Sea.
