Emissions of harmful substances into the air from the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant totaled 2,910 tons, which is a 70% increase compared to last year.
Yerystivsky Mining and Processing Plant emitted 801 tons of harmful substances into the atmosphere during the first quarter of this year, a 20% increase compared to the previous quarter.
Meanwhile, emissions from Bilanivskyi GOK remained nearly the same as in the previous quarter — totaling 36 tons. Almost 100% of the emissions came from dust generated by unorganized (diffuse) sources.
