The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has released a booklet: 6-Step Guide to Hiring a Migrant Domestic Worker. This booklet provides some practical tips about the recruitment process that current or prospective employers may find helpful.

IOM is committed to strengthening the protection of migrant workers, including domestic workers, through improvement of recruitment practices. IOM Hong Kong SAR, China has developed this booklet which is available in both Chinese and English. It is expected that current or prospective employers would be more at ease when hiring a domestic worker and they can also recruit worker in a fair and ethical manner.
