EdgeVerve Systems Limited, an Infosys subsidiary, began its relationship with Myawaddy Bank in response to international calls for integrating Myanmar into the global economy, and after the United States lifted sanctions against Myawaddy Bank in an Executive Order In 2016.

As a global organisation, we are committed to supporting human rights around the world. Our software solutions bring innovation and economic development that can alleviate poverty and improve the lives of people. We are currently reviewing the international community’s response, especially policy developments led by the United Nations, and shall act in accordance with the international guidelines. Unilateral action, based on limited information, may have unintended consequences that can affect lives of ordinary people.
