[T]he three-member Council of Judges...of Halkidiki issued an indictment for the Skouries case. According to the indictment, twenty one individuals are to appear in the Felony Appeal Court of Thessaloniki – all facing heavy charges among which are the formation of a criminal organization, attempted manslaughter, and robbery...We endured throughout the attempted criminalization of our struggle. We endured throughout the time when our substantiated and documented charges against a plethora of “Hellas Gold” violations were ignored by the state inspection mechanisms. We endured when court decisions put the economic interests above the destruction of our land and our right to defend our lives....In these trials, the whole of society shall be sitting in the court’s judgment seat...
