70 ill in Macedonia food poisoning

More than 70 people, 16 of them children, suffering food poisoning symptoms have asked for medical care…in Skopje. 13 of the patients suffering severe dehydration have been hospitalised for further medical treatment…The source of infection is believed to be a local pastry shop located in Skopje's Old Bazaar…The poisoning was most likely caused by the bacteria salmonella or staphylococcus…Shemsi Musa, the director of the state’s sanitation inspectorate said that the pastry shop has been closed immediately. This is second large food poisoning in Macedonia’s capital in the last month.
