[describes unhealthy working conditions & violations of Philippine labour laws at subcontractor of Gelmart Industries]...Gelmart supplies western companies such as K-Mart and WalMart...Wal-Mart and Jockey responded by saying they were going to investigate the situation...Rather than refute or acknowledge the issues, Frederick's of Hollywood used Gelmart's WRAP certification as a shield to elude responsibility. [also refers to Dollar General, Lady Marlene (part of Gelmart)] [Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Frederick’s of Hollywood to respond to the allegations, but it declined to respond]
