Anger at preventable workplace death [Australia]

...the death on Wednesday of 16-year-old Joel Exner...Joel...was working for a subcontractor under principal contractor Australand...he was not wearing a safety harness...The Labour Council of NSW is pushing for the State Government to implement what could become known as "Joel's Law" - a criminal charge of industrial manslaughter, which would carry a maximum fine of $5 million and up to 25 years' jail.
