ASEAN still lacking in rights-based regulations & safety nets to ensure justice for migrants, say NGOs

Thailand, ASEAN and the Mekong Subregion still do not have decent rights-based regulations and safety nets in place to ensure justice for migrants, say non-government organisations…

Migrant workers, [Brahm Press of Migrant Assistance Program] said, systematically received less than a living wage, forcing them to work excessive hours; even then, they may not even receive the minimum wage.
