Brazil recovers $25 mln of illegally cut mahogany

Brazil's environmental agency, Ibama, has seized 220,000 square feet (20,438 sq metres) of mahogany and is floating the wood down the rivers of the Amazon jungle as part of its biggest ever operation to hit illegal loggers, the agency said this week...The clamp-down has led to death threats by loggers against environmental activists, who have helped Ibama.
