In 2014 a total of 118 workplace deaths were registered and 2807 people were injured in occupational accidents in Bulgaria, according to...Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB)...The largest numbers of occupational accidents in 2014 were registered in the spheres of general government (173) land transport (169) retail (149) and metal ore mining (105)..In 2014 a total of 52 543 inspections were conducted at 41 975 companies, with 114 135 violations of working conditions registered, up by 12 190 from 2013.
