Cambodia: Environment activist gets rare acquittal for cases of incitement and destruction of property

Alejandro Gonzalez-Davidson, founder of Mother Nature Cambodia, was accused along with three Cambodian activits for protesting sand-dredging in the province of Koh Kong. They were charged with incitedment and threatening to destroy private property. 

In a recent ruling, Gonzalez-Davidson was acquitted.

Gonzalez-Davidson is not in Cambodia because the government deported him in 2015. See related story linked here.
