Climate change & just transition: Draft guide for investor action

A ‘just transition’ for workers and communities as the world’s economy responds to climate change was included as part of the 2015 Paris Agreement. This guide sets out how investors can pursue the goal of a just transition as part of their core operating practices.

After explaining the just transition and presenting
a detailed case for action, the guide presents five areas where investors can make the just transition part of their practices. Included are examples of how investors in countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and the UK are making progress. The guide ends by outlining next steps.
