Passitora Ltd. (formerly known as WiSpear) is a Cyprus-based technology company specializing in surveillance and intelligence-gathering solutions. The company develops systems designed to intercept and extract data from targeted mobile devices through cellular and Wi-Fi networks. One of its known surveillance tools is the SpearHead system, a mobile platform capable of accessing communications and data from specific devices in its vicinity. WiSpear, now known as Passitora, has been associated with the Intellexa Consortium, an alliance of surveillance technology companies involved in the development and distribution of targeted surveillance technologies, including spyware.
