Corporate Complicity in Congo's War

Since 1996, nearly four million people have died in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) from a conflict that has involved several rebel armies…These armed groups…all have important aspects in common: they target civilians and they all use rape as a weapon of war…For many Congolese women, rape is only the beginning of their trauma...The story that Westerners need to hear, however, is that the atrocities committed in Congo are being funded…by large Western corporations.
