The Danish National Action Plan on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights has been developed in collaboration between the Ministry for Business and Growth and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs...based on the recommendations from the Danish Council on Corporate Social Responsibility...The purpose of the National Action Plan...is to summarise the dedicated initiatives on business and human rights which have been taken by the Danish Government since the UN endorsement of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights...The initiatives in the National Action Plan are primarily focused on preventing and mitigating adverse impacts on human rights when Danish companies operate abroad...The National Action Plan is structured around to main parts: The first part of the National Action Plan is a descriptive part which highlights some of the initiatives taken as a dedicated measure to implement the UNGPs. The second part is an annex which includes a schematic overview of the Danish implementation of the UNGPs principle by principle...The national action plan is expected to be published in March 2014
