[DOC] Statement by Slovenia

The Slovenian government began with activities for the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles. The implementation of the Guiding Principles requires the cooperation of various ministries, including the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries covering separate domains of the Guiding Principles. Great importance has been placed on cooperation with NGOs and civil society in advancing business and human rights...In cooperation with the NGOs, we are planning a joint elaboration of guidelines for Slovenia’s activity in this area.
