We have found the report to lack properly researched first-hand information, mostly relying instead on factually wrong media and press reports...To date all people relocated have done so voluntarily, moreover, we have paid land compensation that is a number of times greater than the amount stipulated by the law...We invited the international consulting company, Knight Piesold, to carry out an update to the environmental and special impact assessment...[T]he report states that there was dumping of radioactive soil on the communities land and river. This statement is false...we pride ourselves in adhering to international environmental standards to safeguard all our stakeholders and particularly those of the villagers...
