Fairfield - Employer settles head-scarf lawsuit [USA]

A lawsuit against [Whitehall Jewelers] alleging that it discriminated against an employee for wearing a head scarf has been settled…"The company is a strong advocate of diversity in the workplace and will continue its strong practices and policies against all forms of discrimination," Whitehall's president, Michael Don, said in a statement.
