Gov't, private organizations to form rules to protect foreign workers' rights [South Korea]

Amid growing concerns about rampant abuse of foreign laborers in Korea, the government and private organizations will work together to form working rules that guarantee rights to such workers, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy said. According to the ministry, regulations for non-native laborers' human rights will be created on the private level and autonomously governed by independent industry leaders. The government will assist the cooperative efforts in a hands-off manner.
