INDONESIA/VIETNAM: Disney grant aids factory text message projects

A grant from the Walt Disney Company will aid the expansion of an innovative project which aims to educate workers about occupational safety and health via text message…Better Work said the new grant would enable the “dramatic” expansion of the project over the next two years, reaching at least 30,000 workers in 30-plus factories in Indonesia and Vietnam in the first year, and 100,000 workers by the end of year two…Meanwhile, Disney is also helping Better Work to offer its Supervisory Skills Training (SST) to more than 5,000 supervisors over a two-year period on a global basis…
