The following types of action can be contemplated [by small & medium-sized enterprises to respect human rights]: a. planning informative and training actions,with the purpose of increasing awareness among managers and the personnel of the meaning and methods of compliance with human rights that the company intends to apply; b. the rapid application of precise actions with the intention of preventing and/or eliminating violations of human rights; c. the creation and/or reinforcement of instruments for monitoring and reporting violations, available to the personnel and to third parties; d. attracting the attention of business associations or other business groups to the problems that the company cannot deal with or solve on its own;
