IUFF announces 10 movies selected for the 2014 edition

The [International Uranium Film Festival (IUFF)] announces the first 10 nuclear movies selected for the 2014 edition, happening at the Modern Art Museum of Rio de Janeiro (MAM) from May 14th to May 24th…The entire list will be announced on April 26th, date of the 28th Anniversary of Chernobyl disaster, to pay homage to the victims and survivors of the worst accident…in the history of nuclear power plants…The IUFF curators chose the best films among more than 200 movies submitted…Besides award winning documentaries, the IUFF 2014 edition will feature fiction and animation movies. All selected films compete for the "Yellow Oscar 2014" in several categories. The nominees will be announced later in May…After screening in Rio, the IUFF 2014 nominees and Yellow Oscar winners will travel all over Brazil, Europe, India and the USA…promoting nuclear directors and contributing to the debate about nuclear issues to multicultural audiences...
