Japan: Fast Retailing announces it will make its supply chain public "as soon as possible"

In an interview with the NIkkei Shimbun, President Yanai of Fast Retailing announced that the company would make its suppliers public "as soon as possible", in an effort to ensure that forced labour and other violations were prevented. Fast Retailing owns the popular apparel brands Uniqlo and GU.

Uniqlo, one of the main brands of Fast Retailling, has published a list of their "Core Partner Factories". There is no similar list for GU, the other main apparel brand of Fast Retailing.
