加州用户状告腾讯 控诉微信审查用户言论

起诉人为促进中国向民主过渡的组织Citizen Power Initiatives for China(CPIFC)以及6位匿名微信用户,他们表示,其在微信上发表可能被视为批评中国政府的言论,引致他们的账号被冻结,其在内地的亲朋好友及美国的商业客户都无法访问他们的账号。

根据上周五向州法院提交的诉状,内容提到,「所有这一切给受到宪法保护的言论泼了冷水」,「事实上,很多微信用户告诉CPIFC,他们真的很害怕中国政府会报复他们或他们的家人,因此,尽管他们人在加州,他们也会自我审查」。

根据诉状,对于加州需要与中国亲朋好友沟通的说汉语的人,以及需要在说汉语的社区内做生意的人来说,微信也至关重要。

根据诉状,加州的一名匿名原告是一位中医按摩师,据称在去年就新冠疫情发表评论后,他的微信账号被冻结了42天,结果他无法与客户沟通,每天损失约500美元。
