On 25 May 2025, a total of 24 Chinese companies in the photovoltaic supply chain, including JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Tongwei, LONGi and GCL Group, launched the 'Initiative for Global Solar Sustainable Alliance (GSSA) to Accelerate Energy'. Referring to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Solar Sustainable Alliance is calling on all companies in the photovoltaic supply chain to adopt sustainable principles and strategies.
