Facebook said it deleted 51,000 hate messages in Myanmar

Social media giant Facebook removed over 51,000 posts in Myanmar that contained hate speech....

The deleted posts violated Facebook's community standards regarding hate speech, said Rafael Frankel, its public policy director for Southeast Asia.

"Around 51,000 contents violating hate speech rules were removed, and 83pc of them were removed before other users could read them,"....
