The nickel smelter of PT Huadi Nickel Alloy Indonesia (HNAI) is reported to have terminated 1,250 employees.
[...] there were 600 workers who were laid off by PT Yatai Huadi Indonesia, 350 Wuzhou Nickel Industri, and 300 workers from PT Huadi Alloy Indonesia.
"350 workers have been laid off since July 1, 2025 without official and free of charge, the 2025 UMP has not been implemented, the overtime pay has not been paid according to the provisions, and the labor union has been ruled out from the entire negotiation process"
