Job posting: Executive Director [The Sigrid Rausing Trust]

The Sigrid Rausing Trust (SRT) is a UK grant making foundation, founded in 1995 to support human rights globally. Since then, the Trust has given away approximately £250 million to human rights organisations all over the world. Our guiding principles are: we recognise the value of core funding; we look for good and effective leadership; we are flexible and responsive to needs and opportunities; we value clarity and brevity in applications and reports; we look to establish long-term relationships with grantees.

We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as our next Executive Director. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Sigrid Rausing, you will be responsible for all the Trust’s grants, programmes and activities, and for supporting the Trust’s future growth in scale and impact. You will manage the team of around ten staff in London and will liaise closely with key stakeholders including the Board of Trustees, grantees, and our peers in the human rights arena to ensure productive partnerships.
