Un pseudo processus de démobilisation des paramilitaires combiné à des milliers de cas de menaces et d'homicides et un manque chronique d'enquêtes et de poursuites judiciaires font de la Colombie un des endroits les plus dangereux au monde pour les syndicalistes, selon un nouveau rapport publié par Amnesty International ce mardi 3 juillet. Intitulé Killings, arbitrary detentions and death threats – the reality of trade unionism in Colombia décrit les attaques systématiques dont sont victimes les syndicalistes qui participent aux campagnes syndicales menées contre les privatisations et en faveur des droits des travailleurs dans les zones d'exploitation industrielle.
