"ILO team happy with sponsorship transfer process for workers", 13 Feb 2015

 A high-level delegation from International Labour Organisation (ILO) has expressed satisfaction with Qatar’s sponsorship change initiative for aggrieved low-income workers.

Colonel Saad Salem Al Dosri, Deputy Head, Human Rights Department, Ministry of Interior, told Al Sharq that the delegation also expressed satisfaction with related procedures.

The team from the Geneva-based ILO visited Qatar last week and officials from the department briefed them on the process of the ministry transferring workers’ sponsorship.
