Roberto de la Rosa de Ávila is a human rights defender who has fought against the mining company Ocampo Mining Tayahua, subsidiary of Grupo Frisco. Recently he has complained of being threatened by workers of the company in his attempt to defend his territory against the invasion by the mine. The company has since proceeded by criminally accusing the defender who has subsequently been summoned to court.
