Standard Chartered Bank Zambia Plc has donated KR53,000 (K53 million) to Lusaka Eye Hospital located in Chawama under its global initiative dubbed Seeing is Believing. Head of consumer banking Sonny Zulu said the bank is committed to remain an integral part of the local initiatives and continue to support local and international business through partnerships. Mr Zulu said the donation will go towards the installation of an oxygen control and supply system for the general anaesthesia service, creation of new library, painting of interior hospital and free consultation for vulnerable people.
