TÜV Rheinland responded

TÜV Rheinland does not conduct social audits in Xinjiang province. Nevertheless, we have been active as an inspection service provider in numerous industries and sectors in China for decades. The work we undertake there on behalf of our customers also includes the regular performance of social audits. We have built up a wide experience in this field over the years and have a broad range of expertise. Part of our responsibility as a company that has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2006 is to closely monitor the public debate on specific sustainability issues in the markets in which we operate. We will continue to do so in the future in line with our principles and take appropriate account of this in our corporate actions.
